2SLGBTQIA+ and Allyship: IN-PERSON

Join us for this two-hour workshop where we will discuss Gender, Sexuality, and Allyship. We will discuss topics that support us in defining what identity means as an LGBTQIA2S+ person. Gender, coming out, vulnerability, and positive trends in the community will be discussed as well as how to be supports for one another.  We will explore, engage, and empower ourselves as we dive into this topic.

This course is offered as part of our Knowledge is Power Series for our community caregivers. This course is designed to offer education and awareness regarding self-harm, various coping strategies and techniques and ways in which we can support our loved ones who are self-harming.

An in-person support group for parents, caregivers, family members and partners of transgender and gender diverse children and adults. A space to share their experiences and stories as they work to understand and support their loved ones. This is a partnership group with Pride YMM. A bite size version of our popular Confront the Discomfort course. Over two weeks you will learn the physical, mental and emotional signs of anxiety: Learn to value and notice the important warning signs our bodies send to us. With opportunities to identify personal causes and symptoms of anxiety, you will explore how to take small steps to break the cycle of anxiety-producing thoughts, beliefs and behaviours.
