Due to the escalation of COVID-19 pandemic and recommendations around social distancing, CMHA – Wood Buffalo Region has decided to be proactive and suspend access to the Welcome Centre and Recovery College programming as of 8:30 am on Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice.
Phone and email support still remain available to those who need it, however, our in-person services have been suspended until further notice. We are looking at alternative ways to service the mental health of all through online programming. We will re-access weekly as more information becomes available from the Government of Alberta. Phone (780)-743-1053 and email peer@woodbuffalo.cmha.ab.ca are available during 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
Our clients’ mental health remains a top priority and we encourage you to visit www.woodbuffalo.cmha.ca for updates to program changes and to access additional information, strategies and resources.
If you or a loved one is experiencing mental health distress during this time, please call 211 (Alberta only) or the Mental Health Help Line at 1-877-303-2642.
